I was given a ‘Grumpy Old Man’ mug as a present, which I used for coffee- filling it with hot water. Then I heated some milk in it in a microwave. Never again! Received some large blisters on two fingers. it was rather like picking up a hot soldering iron. It xould be very dangerous iif children use it. The package may have a warning ‘do not microwave’ but who keeps the package anyway?
