Gossip Girl Leighton Meester Wearing Posh Outfit
July 20, 2009Filming Gossip Girl on the streets of New York, Leighton Meester was spotted in character as the show’s resident sartorial queen bee, Blair Waldorf, clad in the red Carmontelle shift dress from Mrs B’s autumn/winter ‘09 collection.
Posh’s entrance into designer fashion has earned her a lot of celebrity fans, including Heidi Klum and Elle Macpherson, who have both stepped out in the former Spice Girl’s classic frocks.

December 20, 2008It’s time for another top. This time, however, it is about best dressed in 2008. Who do you think managed to be BEST dressed?
While other actresses may have balked at this Givenchy giant ruffle gown, Natalie Portman embraced the statement style for an appearance at Cannes in May.
Thandie Newton is a fashion chameleon, who never shies away from a fashion risk.
In an outfit that would have made Carrie proud, Sarah Jessica Parker flew the flag for British fashion, wearing a pistachio green Alexander McQueen prom dress and a Philip Treacy hat. The vertiginous green headpiece featured butterflies, a green rose and what appeared to be an acorn cup.
Gwyneth Paltrow showed off her most daring look, a miniscule lace dress, at the Iron Man London premiere, paired with her favourite accessory, a pair of vertiginous heels.
Oozing class in a divine Valentino Couture gown with dramatic pleated back detail, oversized corsage and floating train, the stunning Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko more than proved her Bond girl credentials.
The corsage-embellished style was stunning, but it was the oh-so-chic up-do that made me love Keira Knightley’s outfit.
Gossip Girl’s very own Blair Waldorf , Leighton Meester scores as many fashion hits off screen as she does on. Like her alter-ago, she clearly has a penchant for designer labels, making her a regular on the New York front rows and influencing a host of outfit choices. One of our favorites is this lovely lemon yellow Giambattista Valli frock, worn to a network party in August.
Jessica Alba mastered maternity style, and made hers one of the best dressed of the year, covering it in a flowing Marchesa gown and Cartier diamonds for the 2008 Oscars.
Heidi Klum’s best look of the year – the girl can do no wrong! Always flawless, she pulled out all the stops for February’s Oscars, with a silk taffeta, floor-length couture gown by John Galliano and Stuart Weitzman shoes. Simply amazing!
