The Ultimate Must Have Item – by Fait Boum

I am very fortunate to have another fantastic blogger write a post in the series The Ultimate Must Have Item. This time is Emily from Fait Boum. She has an amazing style and this is what made me ask her if she wanted to be featured on my blog. And she hosts a super interesting Giveaway, too! So, check out her ultimate must have item!

My “Ultimate Must Have Item” is a lightweight oversized knit sweater. My style is pretty eclectic, and it’s typically the statement pieces that garner my attention, but – day or night – a breezy oversized sweater is my favorite go-to. They’re fantastic for layering (they’d fit perfect under a Concept a Trois coat!).

Loose knits are ultra comfortable and effortlessly chic, and they look great on any body type – a wardrobe staple that every girl needs. Layer an oversized knit (like the one I’m wearing here, from H&M) over faux leather leggings, and slip into a pair of chunky ankle boots for a weekend on the town. Mix it up, and tuck the top into an A-line midi skirt for a classic little feminine twist.

As spring approaches, I’m loving soft pale colors. Neutrals are timeless, and you can get a lot of wear out of them. Keep an eye out for pieces with texture – it is the little details, like texture, that take your look from effortless to effortlessly chic. And, it almost goes without saying, soft fabrics are definitely the best to cozy up in.

Fait Boum is a fetching little life and style blog, written by an espresso addicted journalism student with a passion for savoring the small things in life. Justin Bieber and Lara Stone for Calvin Klein Jeans

Justin Bieber and Lara Stone are the faces of Calvin Klein Jeans and Underwear new ad campaign. They were photographed in a series of very sexy images.

Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the pair went topless together and they look positively happy with each other. Now I have to have a pair of those jeans 🙂
