Earthy Bracelets by Modern Flower Child

I absolutely like these earthly bracelets. It’s like having a piece of nature with you always. Especially during these gloomy days, they would be perfect.

The artist, who produces under the name ModernFlowerChild, creates the pieces based in Coos Bay, Oregon. “Each bangle is made by hand and not a machine so tiny bubbles, lines, bumps, waves and slight imperfections are part of the unique personality and characteristics of the jewelry,” the artist says.

INTRODUCING: FURY

Amazing shoes! Which are your favs?

Les Assorties

After several years of working in womenswear, millinery and handbag design, Lisen Magnusson realized that her deep interest lied in shoe design. She was employed in many companies before eventually establishing her own line, Fury, alongside her business partner David Frymann in 2012. A mix of fashion and art – the latter inspired by Magnusson’s art background besides fashion design – their silhouettes have come to be instantly recognizable, making Fury another addition to the crop of young British designers who turn fashionable heads with their flamboyant creations. Within one year, Magnusson and Frymann saw their collections being included in Haizhen Wang Autumn/Winter 2013-14 show at London Fashion Week, stocked in high-profile boutiques and featured in renowned publications around the world, earning them a spot in the Footwear Designer of the Year at the Drapers Footwear and Accessories Awards in 2013.

New Obsessions

I know if I were to search there would be a new thing to be obsessed with everyday, but the items I like most are the ones I accidentally discover or I discover them with the help of friends. This time it was Kristina – who has this amazing blog, and who has introduced the Fjord watches to me – the black ones are amazing.

For my second obsession it was a newsletter I received from Coach NY just showing the perfect small bag – I love the metallic one, the black talks with me also, but the metallic…

Just great! Love them!

Waiting for Spring Wearing Light Purple

Light purple. Wear the soft purple hue on layers under fuzzy wool sweaters and glossy nails and maybe even in your hair if you’re brave enough.

I absolutely love this pretty pastel shade, being so opposing to the heavy blacks and charcoals typically associated with winter dressing. I try to wear it as often as possible. And wait for spring. After all, winter is almost finished.
