Velvet Trousers

You all know by now my love with velvet in general and with velvet dresses in special, but today I thought why not velvet trousers. I find them to be a very chic choice for the festive season, being up there in the top close to sequins.

If you’re not sure how to style them, just pair your velvet pieces with contrasting textures – think cashmere, silk or jersey tops – to create a polished look. You can’t go wrong with a pair of velvet pants paired with heels and a white tank for a modern party-season outfit, or if you want to opt for a relaxed style, wear the velvet trousers with a turtleneck top – trendy and office appropriate.

Get some more inspiration from these styles – Cate Blanchett and Loulou de la Falaise looking positively amazing.

  1. Must admit, apart from a velvet blazer, I’m not really into velvet anything buuut I do like the look of skinny and flared velvet trousers, they give of this cool and luxe 70s vibe! ( :
