Red for Summer

What better way to show off your summer perfectly tanned skin than to wear a gorgeous shade of red. It is an instant  attention-grabbing choice and it is available everywhere during the summer months – and not only, from clothes to bags and sandals. I especially have a soft spot for dresses, but a red flowy top with light shorts or light skinnies is an easy summer styling.

And it gets better: why not try some red swimwear, so fun to mix and match and equals the sex-appeal of the black swimwear.

How To: Breton Dresses

Want to achieve that effortlessly, good looking effect when getting dressed? The easiest option will be to wear dress, and the easiest option from all the dresses will be to choose a Breton or a Mariniere dress – it’s quickly becoming the weekend go-to for spring.

Pair yours with a leather biker or denim jacket for the weekend and a tailored coat and statement necklace for weekdays. Remember the matching sneakers. It really is that simple.

Earthy Bracelets by Modern Flower Child

I absolutely like these earthly bracelets. It’s like having a piece of nature with you always. Especially during these gloomy days, they would be perfect.

The artist, who produces under the name ModernFlowerChild, creates the pieces based in Coos Bay, Oregon. “Each bangle is made by hand and not a machine so tiny bubbles, lines, bumps, waves and slight imperfections are part of the unique personality and characteristics of the jewelry,” the artist says.

New Obsessions

I know if I were to search there would be a new thing to be obsessed with everyday, but the items I like most are the ones I accidentally discover or I discover them with the help of friends. This time it was Kristina – who has this amazing blog, and who has introduced the Fjord watches to me – the black ones are amazing.

For my second obsession it was a newsletter I received from Coach NY just showing the perfect small bag – I love the metallic one, the black talks with me also, but the metallic…

Just great! Love them!

Winter Coats

With all the cold and snow outside, having a thick and stylish coat has become a necessity. Getting inspiration from those under the spotlights, is a very easy way to start the search for your next coat – beware the sales period is upon us, so choose wisely and in advance.

I am a fan of layers, but when holidaying takes you in areas with 20 degrees below zero, where winter is nipping at our toes, it is a clear sign that at least one layer needs to be thicker.

Now you might just look forward to the chilly months ahead!
