How To: Burgundy for Autumn

Burgundy or oxblood is the color of the season and the one to invest in now. Use this color in items you would not usually do: like a leather skirt or jacket, or mix and all black outfit with burgundy ankle boots for a cool and easy to assemble look. From oxblood bags and faux fur collars, to pointed flats, and chic hats get ready to make an appearance in this season’s hottest hue.

How To: The Black Jumpsuit

Just in time for the change of season I have rediscovered the jumpsuit. If it was a summer staple to wear one with flowers or colored, I  have fallen in love with this style for autumn and in darker shades. As usual black is my favorite color, so when I type darker I actually mean black. Simple, versatile and perfect for cold weather with the right jacket or poncho on top, this all-in-one is an effortless alternative to not just the cocktail dress, but a jeans-and-tee combo too.
Here are a few of my favorite styles

Transitional Capes

Ever since Burberry’s monogrammed cape was spotted on a great number of A-list last autumn, the blanket cape has become the piece to be seen in when the weather turns chilly. It’s the perfect layering piece for transitional weather, for autumn, just throw it over your outfit and you are ready to go.

Home Decor: Display Domes

Anyone who loves the snow globes will attest to the charms of a display dome – the sophisticated way to showcase your flowers, candles, shells and so many more things.

If, for example, you need a coffee table decoration, or maybe you need to fill a little space, the dome is a charming addition. Christmas is not so far so what about filling one with fairy lights and turning your living room more festive.
