Dare to Wear: Blush Pink in Winter

Pastel colors and especially blush pink may be the preserve of spring, but glimpses of this color were seen on the  runway for AW15 at Prada and Gucci.

And lately streetstyle wise, blush pink is the shade to be seen in. You cannot go wrong when wearing this shade, be it in form of knits to leather biker jackets. I think this color works surprisingly well in chunky textures, from cashmere to wool.  Match your blush pink with dark denim and neutrals.

Love Neelam Gill in the Abercrombie & Fitch’s new fall 2015 campaign. The brand  focused on fashion essentials made for today’s fashion bloggers and street style stars. Essentials that you could easily incorporate in your outfits.

How To: Denim Jacket

Each and everyone of you has at least one denim jacket I am sure, more or less forgotten in your wardrobe, after the huge military jacket trend.  But the SS15’s denim trend has created plenty of jeans comebacks, one of the most significant being the jean jacket. There are a lot of new ways in which you can style yours: wear it like a cape, button it up and add a huge necklace on top, add it to floaty really girlish outfits or wear it in an oversized version – feel the 90’s vibe?

How To: Breton Dresses

Want to achieve that effortlessly, good looking effect when getting dressed? The easiest option will be to wear dress, and the easiest option from all the dresses will be to choose a Breton or a Mariniere dress – it’s quickly becoming the weekend go-to for spring.

Pair yours with a leather biker or denim jacket for the weekend and a tailored coat and statement necklace for weekdays. Remember the matching sneakers. It really is that simple.

How To: Turned Up Denim

A wardrobe staple loved by glossy magazines editors and street style bloggers alike, the denim turn up is a very present trend in SS15.

So present on Paris streets, this how to wear denim trend is actually a fine art, requiring just the right number of fold-ups, an over-sized top or a white shirt and some accessories – think adding a hat also, to really master this trend. You may either opt for a classic boyfriend fit or prefer to remain faithful to your skinnies, but be sure to turn them up.
