Ever since Burberry’s monogrammed cape was spotted on a great number of A-list last autumn, the blanket cape has become the piece to be seen in when the weather turns chilly. It’s the perfect layering piece for transitional weather, for autumn, just throw it over your outfit and you are ready to go.

For the tricky transition weather, until summer will be really here, when at noon all you really need is just a t-shirt and in the mornings a thick sweater, there is this alternative of wearing a knitted cover-up – a practical throw-on that will keep the chill at bay.

Pair your knitted cover up with ripped-knee skinnies and peep-toe booties, and you’ll be the chic-est of them all.
