Barely There Jewellery

I like a lot this trend of barely there jewellery. So simple and chic. These understated pieces of jewellery say a lot more than a statement piece. I like most the rings, but the necklaces are amazing also. Need some inspiration? Here are some of my favorites styles:

Ear-cuffs Earrings

I always loved the ear-cuffs. And, lately I have seen them worn everywhere from the red carpet to the street style at the fashion weeks, simply proving that the ear-cuff trend is here to stay. It adds that much needed edge to any type of outfits, from the sophisticated evening dresses to jumpers and jeans.

Current Obsession: Macabre Gadgets

Having seen the rings, collars and earrings from Macabre Gadgets I have no choice but to recommend them to you as they are fascinating. My favorite one is the Unicorn ring.
Unicorn ring
Macabre Gadgets is inspired by the infernal aesthetics of the dark side, which is inherent by the world view of mankind at all times, epochs and styles, from the early Middle Ages to progressive postmodernism.
The Macabre mood of jewels is embodied by cutting-edge and traditional jewelry execution techniques and materials: pressed coral, silver & gold inlaid precious & semi-precious stones, pearls and metals.
Great jewelry to wear to a party and be the center of attraction.

The Hunger Games Guide to Party Wear

I like the Hunger Games movie so much. And I can’t wait to see this last one episode that is in theaters now – Mockingjay. Katniss’ outfits are an inspiration for the party season that is here.

We all need party wear that will guarantee a grand entrance. Having already mentioned the party make-up it is time to address the partywear.

If you are not into this movie as I am, you can choose among glittering shorts, scoop back dresses and lace tops; there are plenty of ideas. Don’t miss out on the final touches too, think drop chandelier earrings and silver box clutches that round off an outfit in style.

De Grisogono Gypsy Earrings

Fawaz Gruosi, founder of the Geneva-based jewelry house De Grisogono is a spectacular jewelry designer. Her designs are somehow out of the ordinary. They incorporate sapphires, diamonds, white gold, and so many precious metals that wearing them will make you a princess in an instant. I especially liked some gypsy earrings. What do you think?
