Cosy Warm Outfit: Sweater and Jeans

Cold weather is all around us, and all I can think of is finding a cosy warm outfit – fit for office hours too, fit for lazy weekends too – come on Saturday! So, why not go back to the sweater and jeans combo? Try a warm turtle neck or your chunky favorite sweater, skinnies or slouchy jeans and some boots. Set to go!

Here are some ideas:

Feeling warm enough? Me not likely until spring, but still.

Knitted Dresses Craziness

Right now, nothing appeals to me more than a cosy sweater, so why not take knitwear to the next level with a knitted dress? In summer I love dresses, so why not transition the trend into colder months? Relaxed yet put-together, they will keep you feeling warm and chic all winter long.

Match yours with over-the-knee boots or with classic black ankle boots for a more relaxed everyday style.

Cosy Knits for Cold Weather

It has been so cold here the last couple of days. Brrr! I strongly believe that each one of us should have a couple of really cozy sweaters in her knitwear repertoire right now. Cosy yet cool, this versatile sweaters will form the starting points of lots and lots of  looks – wear yours loose to add a boyish charm with skinny jeans or a mini- skirt for a more feminine touch and of, course, the over-the-knee boots or why not? layer it over a classic white shirt and trusty denim for relaxed weekend outfits.

Presently, I am in love with classic navy, soft greys and camels and daring burgundy sweaters. What are your favorites?

Neutral Knits for Fall/ Winter

Cosy up this fall/ winter with neutral knits. Try the chunky ones for added chic-ness and preppy style, and you will see they will very fast become a wardrobe essential. Not only will they keep you super warm in the cold weather, but they are an exact match with mostly everything you already own. Imagine matching a chunky sweater with a  sequin skirt, leather pants, wool dress, distressed skinny jeans.  The best shades to choose from are in my vision the neutral ones like grey, beige, white.

Off the Shoulders Sweaters

I was in love all summer long with the off the shoulders tops and couldn’t be more happier to see this trend slide into autumn in the form of the off the shoulders sweater. With its chic rolled neckline and heavy knit, the off the shoulders sweater will lend even a simple skinny jeans outfit an effortless edge.
