How To: Update Winter Knitwear

If you’re looking for a way to up-date your winter knitwear, pair luxury silk camisoles with chunky thick cardigans in muted tones, creating a seriously cool take on casual wear.  Team with jeans and slip on trainers for a comfy weekend look, or with high heels for a bolder statement.

Here are a few ideas to get inspiration from:

Leather Skinnies

I can’t seem to shake my addiction with skinnies. And I absolutely adore the leather ones – consider them a super easy glam addiction to your outfits. Pair them with trainers and a knit for a luxe weekend look or with heels and a top for an evening cool date.

Reinventing the White Shirt

Never be short of white shirts, be it for the office or for going out and wanting to look posh, because a classic white shirt is one of those items every girl needs.

So, try buttoning it up to the top and add a necklace to emphasize your high neckline.

Wear it as a dress,  add sneakers for instant coolness or high nude heels for a very chic vibe.

Wear it under a chunky sweater and let the collar in plain view – buttoned or unbuttoned to the top- and keep it completely untucked from your pants or skirt.

Wear it with boyfriend or girlfriend jeans and tuck it in your pants just in front.

Wear it with skinny jeans – try the light blue jeans, white shirt, red shoes combination – and skinny leather pants, or skirt – they are available in so many colors.

Controversy: Tight vs Large Turtleneck

As the temperatures turn towards winter, the  turtleneck is becoming an essential part of your layering wardrobe – the high neckline and long sleeves will keep the chill off no matter what weather comes your way. Pair your turtleneck with skinnies or a mini skirt and don’t forget about adding layers

If you were to pick a favorite in your wardrobe would you go for a tight turtleneck or a large one?

Which of the 2 styles is more chic and elegant for you? I, for one, can’t make up my mind.
